Our Programs
COMMUNITY-BASED MENTORING
Mentors (Bigs) spend four to six hours per month with a child (Little) out in the community. With the parent's consent, Bigs and Littles do activities that they both enjoy like going to sporting events, crafts, watching a movie, and more! Bigs can help with homework, play games, or just have a conversation with their Littles.
GROUP MENTORING /SITE-BASED FACILITATED
BBBS Services Staff meet with mentees either in a group setting or one-to-one at a designated school or after-school location weekly.
SITE-BASED MENTORING
Littles enjoy having their Bigs meet with them once a week at school or an afterschool program site, during lunch or another agreed-upon times. Bigs and Littles enjoy lunch, play games, read, or have conversations. This opportunity is open to high school and college students as well as adults.
READY TO BE MATCHED LITTLES
The "Ready to be Matched" Littles typically include over 100 children waiting to be matched in our Community-Based program. They are being served by team members and group enrichment activities at Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring Center.
