Big for a Day
Big for a Day is a recruitment activity designed to raise awareness about the need for Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers. There are currently more than 100 children on our waiting list, some waiting as long as two years for a Big Brother or Big Sister. Big for a Day also allows children on our waiting list to learn more about future career/job opportunities as well as demonstrating the joys of having a Big Brother or Big Sister.
Our 10th annual Big for a Day was held on August 14, 2009. We are grateful to the following people who volunteered to take a Little Brother or Sister to work with them and experience what it would be like to be a Big for a Day.
