Annual Holiday Party

We will host our annual Holiday party on December 4th, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Hawthorne Inn. Volunteers, littles, and their families are welcome to come and enjoy food, games and prizes. Please RSVP by Deceber 1st to your case manager at 336-724-7993. We hope to see you there!

Holiday Cards

Please help Big Brothers Big Sisters spread some Holiday merriment and cheer. We have Holiday Cards available for your use. The holiday greeting card features artwork done by a Little in our program. There are two choices for you to view. The card’s measurements are 5”x7”. Please click here for more information about our holiday cards.

Attractions Dining and Value Guide Coupon Book

We have the Attractions Dining and Value Guide Coupon Book at our office again this year for our volunteers. We have them at a discounted price of $20.00 (normally $25.00). You can view the participating merchants by clicking on the picture below. There is also an option to sell the coupon books to receive your book for free. If you are interested in purchasing a coupon book ,or for more details, please call our office at 336-724-7993.

Big for a Day “Thank you”

BB&T’s Big For a Day event

BB&T will host their own Big For a Day event. Big For a Day is an event where community leaders from various organizations takes a child, who’s currently waitng on a big brother or sister,  to their jobs. They introduce the child to their employees/coworkers and show the child their job responsibilities, other positions, and show the child why their jobs are important.

This event is designed to give visibility and media attention to the need that we have for big brother and sister volunteers.  The waiting list children who participate with Big For a Day also get exposed to future career options.
