The Winston-Salem Urban League Young Professionals Empowering Youth Program (EYP) is being offered to a group of our Wait List children. The program is dedicated towards active investment in youth. The goal of the EYP is to equip youth to become successful, productive, and influential young professionals.  The program consists of 8 interactive sessions:

(February) Civil Rights and Racial Justice Empowerment

    (March)  Economic Empowerment

(April) Health and Quality of Life Empowerment

    (May) Civic Engagement Empowerment

    (June) Program Graduation Ceremony

Thank you Winston-Salem Urban League Young Professionals for providing our children with this program. If you are interested in sponsoring a waiting list activity, please contact Brittany Pruitt at 336-724-7993 or bpruitt@bbbsnc.org.

Bowl For Kids’ Sake is our annual signature FUNdraiser. This event alone raises over 35% of BBBS’ annual operating budget. Money is raised through corporate/company sponsorships and individuals bowling on teams who collect pledges from families, friends, and co-workers. More than 60 companies and 1,400 individuals community-wide participate in this event each year. Thousands of additional individuals help make this event successful by donating and supporting a bowler. This year our Bowl For Kid’s Sake event will take place on Saturday, February 27th and Saturday, March 6th at AMF Bowling Center on Jonestown Rd.

Do you want to participate this year? If so, click here to learn how.

For more information or if you have any further questions contact Pam Suber at 336-724-7993 or psuber@bbbsnc.org. We hope to see you at our annual Bowl For Kid’s Sake event!  Now more than ever, we need your help.
